WHAT IS PROP FIRM TRADING?
Proprietary (prop) firm trading involves trading financial instruments using a firm’s own capital rather than the money of external investors. Traders in prop firms use the firm’s funds to make trades, aiming to generate profits that are then shared between the trader and the firm. Prop firm traders often have access to significant leverage, allowing them to control larger positions with a relatively small amount of capital. Prop trading can be done in various markets, including stocks, currencies, futures, and options. It is a popular option for traders looking to trade with larger amounts of capital and potentially earn higher profits.
At CK Trader PRO, we partner with our preferred prop trading company, ApexTraderFunding, to provide our members with access to prop firm trading opportunities. Another company we have vetted is TakeProfitTrader Each of them have their own pro’s and cons. For new traders we recommend starting with Apex as they have a more forgiving trail down policy.
The preferred charting platform at CK Trader PRO is TradingView. TradingView offers a wide range of tools and resources, making it an invaluable asset for traders. All of our algorithms are coded within TradingView, and all users must have a TradingView account to gain access to our advanced algorithms.
The cost to get started with a prop firm can vary, but the process typically involves the following steps: Passing the Demo Account: The cost for this can vary depending on the coupon, but it can be as low as $33 for a 50K account. Paying to Convert the Demo Account: Once you pass the demo account, you will need to pay to convert it. This cost can be as low as $85. Trading and Profiting: After converting your demo account, if you are successful, you can withdraw $2000 after just 8 days of trading. Just imagine, 10x your money in 8 days! We will teach you how to achieve this level of success.

Step 1: Create an ApexTraderFunding Account
Visit ApexTraderFunding: Go to ApexTraderFunding.com.

 

Step 2: Create a TradingView Account
Visit TradingView: Go to TradingView.
Select a Plan: Choose the plan that fits your requirements. Our recommended plan is Premium, but at minimum, we suggest the Plus plan.

 

Step 3: Choose the size of Your ApexTraderFunding Demo Account you wish to trade. (recommended 50k)

 

Step 4: Apex will set Up Your Tradovate Account
Access Tradovate: Once your demo account is created, ApexTraderFunding will open an account with Tradovate for you.
Find Login Information: Your Tradovate login information will be available in your ApexTraderFunding dashboard.
Log In to Tradovate: Use the provided login information to access your Tradovate account.
Initiate Trades: Use Tradovate to initiate and manage your trades.

 

Step 5: Use TradingView for Charting
Log In to TradingView: Use your TradingView account to access advanced charting tools. (Premium is recommended. At minimum Plus account)
Chart Price Action: Utilize TradingView’s extensive tools and resources to chart price action and analyze market trends.
Integrate with Tradovate: Use TradingView for detailed market analysis and Tradovate for executing trades.
